Jerry Barnes wrote these songs in 2002. When he was diagnosed with kidney cancer, that metastasized to his brain, in 2025, I made it my mission to get his songs published to every digital platform I could. After God had put it on his heart to write these songs he traveled to many churches and sang them. He never charged to share his music in churches. Many know him from his various karaoke shows he did. Some from his performances at G.E. or even, the Sheperdsville Country Music Show and more. I know him as dad. I wanted to be able to say hey …. play my dad. My mission was accomplished. His is still in progress. He wants everyone to know Jesus just as we do and spread the message that Jesus died for our sins so we can live. This is a free gift to accept and the music is free too. Thank you for all the prayers; we still need them. As you know, my mother Donna, his beloved wife of 52 years got the ultimate healing and went to be with the Lord.
